FROM THE TEXAS MUSICIANS MUSEUM FACEBOOK PAGE: Thursday, January the 5th is the date for the Ravis Guthrie Memorial at the Texas Musicians Museum. Jim Suhler has committed to perform and there are many other musicians who will be a part of this very special event honoring Ravis. We hope to see all of Ravis' friends and family at this wonderful celebration of her life. I'm unable to attend since it's BIG TEXAS BLUES night, but on a personal level I'd like to say: Thank you Ravis. For always supporting live music. For your sunny smile and beautiful nature. But most of all for being my friend.
