DALLAS / FT WORTH / N TEXAS LIVE BLUES 3/2/17 THRU 3/8/17

Congratulations go out this week to David Card of Poor David’s Pub, celebrating his 40^th Anniversary of bringing great live music to Dallas! Yesterday, Dallas Major Mike Rawlins presented a Certificate of Special Recognition to Poor David’s Pub to commemorate their anniversary. They also received recognition from the Governor of the State of Texas.

The very first Blues show I ever saw was Lou Ann Barton at Poor David’s in the early 90’s, and it is no exaggeration to say it changed my life. For that, I am eternally grateful.

I have had the honor of performing on the PDP stage myself several times. You’ve heard me say it on air, but Poor David’s is one of the greatest live music venues in Dallas, Texas. Everything in that room is focused on the stage, with no TV’s anywhere, giving the musicians the respect they deserve.

David Card is also a tireless supporter of KNON. Many of our best benefit shows have been held in his club.
