BIG BEAT DALLAS CLOSES, AND WITH IT, POPULAR BLUES CLUB HIGHWAY 61



THIS JUST IN: IT WOULD APPEAR FROM A FACEBOOK POST ABOUT BIG BEAT DALLAS MADE BY OWNER BILLY BOB BARNETT "Operations will cease, effective as of 12 AM this evening, 5/29/18. You will receive instructions ... with regards to pay, benefits, etc.,"

The complex contains Highway 61, the blues restaurant/bar where many local and traveling bands have been playing. Highway 61 proved popular with both musicians and blues loving patrons. It's a shamed to lose such a great sounding venue supporting blues so quickly.
