This week we said a sudden and sad goodbye to David Bowie. He lived his life as an ever evolving work of art, and managed to turn own death into art as well with the poignant timing of the release of his album "Blackstar", it is said, as a last gift to his fans. I'm impressed by that level of commitment to his work and his fans. He may not have been a Blues guy, but he knew a great Blues guitarist when he heard one. And he certainly helped push SRV's career to a higher level. Which fueled the Blues resurgence of the 80's. If you don't know that story, you can read about it here.

 The stars indeed look very different today.

Thank you to everyone who donated a toy to KNON's 1st Annual Toy Drive. We collected a lot of toys (some, but not all, pictured above) for the patients of Children's Medical Center in Dallas. And no, Christian Lee did NOT keep the pink bike. He already has one at home! LOL!
