We are super excited about our first IBC Blues Challenge and the honor to host a band and solo/duo act to the 34th Annual International Blues Challenge in Memphis January 16-20, 2018!!! This is a tremendous opportunity and we need all of you to spread the word, join your Blues Society and volunteer with your talents!
Gordon Robertson is our IBC Chair and we ask that all requests to enter be sent to him first at email@example.com. You may also call with any questions to 817.368.1604.
Musicians who have NOT been nominated or have not won a Handy/Blues Music Award are eligible! This will be a regional Challenge for our North Texas Musicians first!! Others outside our immediate location may be considered but our intention is to first draw from the pool of our very talented Regional musicians. It will be a sanctioned Challenge and acts must enter their home Society's Challenge (the closest to them) first according to the Blues Foundation's rules.
At least one member of a band or a solo/duo act MUST be a
Trinity River Blues Society member in order to enter. Entry fees will be $15 for a Solo or Duo Act and $25 for a band. You can join on line at www.trinityblues.com. Once you have submitted your request with Gordon, we will send you an application to fill out and return with the entry fee. We also ask that you include the following with your application; a bio, hi-resolution photo and a stage plot.
